Being a homeowner isn’t always easy and the “to do” list for maintaining a home can become overwhelming. However, homeownership doesn’t have to be stressful especially when it comes to home maintenance. A lot of homeowners tend to maintain the “normal” or obvious items. Things like mowing the lawn, pulling weeds, pest control and cleaning bathrooms. Although there are other items that need to be maintained that some homeowners aren’t even aware of.
There are 9 main items homeowners need to clean, but don’t. Things like the dishwasher, dryer vent and gutters. If some of these items aren’t cleaned, like the dryer vent it can cause a house fire. While other items, like cleaning the dishwasher can extend the appliances life and efficiency.
