Rich, young 20-year-olds have snapped up eight luxury penthouses in one of the most affluent parts in London.

In a statement sent to Yahoo Finance UK, the property developers Galliard Home said the millennials have paid about £5m ($6.55m) each for the apartments, which boast 2,183 square feet.

Galliard Homes added that the buyers are “London based, business entrepreneurs, who have their own businesses or senior positions within the legal, IT, media, and property professions.” The group did not reveal any other details of the purchasers.

Inside, the penthouses have a double reception room and three bedroom suites with custom design oak flooring with glazed double doors opening onto the master bathroom, each with luxury ensuite facilities.

The family kitchen and breakfast room have bespoke design kitchens by Valcucine Artematica and feature glass worktops with stainless steel appliances.

Penthouses residents also have access to a hotel-style 24/7 concierge, as well as underground bike and car parking.

The homes aren’t just incredibly plush on the inside — they each have a 1,668 sqft roofgarden with private pool. But it’s not just for show, each of the pools have an innovative “endless swimming” current on a generator which are usually used on luxury yachts, which allowing residents to swim against a current adjustable to both speed and ability.

The penthouses are situated in London’s Islington Square development where it’s next to a number of transport links and famous Upper Street. But if residents don’t want to venture too far from their home, they have access to their own retail, leisure and lifestyle facilities within the Islington Square development.

Apart from shops, cafes and restaurants, they have access to a luxury screen-and-dine cinema, ‘The Lounge’ by Odeon where there is a menu of food and cocktails served to them in sofa-like seats whilst they view their chosen movie.

They even have access to a 40,000 sqft Third Space family health club.
